బ్రేకింగ్: కామన్వెల్త్ లో గోల్డ్ నెగ్గిన స్టార్‌ షట్లర్‌ పీవీ సింధు!

కామన్వెల్త్‌ గేమ్స్‌-2022లో భారత్‌ పతకాల వేట కొనసాగుతూనే ఉంది. ఆఖరి రోజు కూడా భారత్ జోరు తగ్గలేదు. బ్యాడ్మింటన్‌ లో తెలుగు తేజం, స్టార్‌ షట్లర్‌ పీవీ సింధు బంగారు పతకాన్ని కైవసం చేసుకుంది. మహిళల సింగిల్స్‌ విభాగంలో ఫైనల్‌ చేరిన సింధు.. కెనడా క్రీడాకారిణి మిచెలీ లీపై వరుస సెట్లలో విజయం సాధించి గోల్డ్‌ సొంతం చేసుకుంది.

తొలి సెట్‌లో 21-15తో విజయం సాధించిన పీవీ సింధు రెండో సెట్లో రెట్టించిన ఉత్సాహంతో 21-13తోనే గెలుపొందింది. ఈ విజయంతో కామన్వెల్త్‌ క్రీడల్లో షట్లర్‌ పీవీ సింధు తొలిసారి బంగారు పతకం అందుకుంది. 2014వ సంవత్సరంలో కాంస్యం నెగ్గిన సింధు, 2018లో రజతంతో మెరిసింది. అంతేకాకుండా ఈ గోల్డ్‌ మెడల్‌తో పతకాల పట్టికలో భారత్‌ 56 పతకాలతో నాలుగో స్థానానికి ఎగబాకింది. ఇప్పటివరకు భారత్‌ 19 గోల్డ్‌, 15 సిల్వర్, 22 బ్రాంజ్‌ మెడల్స్‌ సాధించింది. పీవీ సింధుకు కామెంట్స్‌ రూపంలో మీ శుభాకాంక్షలను తెలియజేయండి.
