టీమిండియా అండర్‌-19 మాజీ కెప్టెన్‌ అవి బరోట్‌(29) కార్డియక్‌ అరెస్ట్‌తో మృతి చెందాడు. సౌరాష్ట్ర జట్టుకు ప్రాతినిథ్యం వహించిన బరోట్‌ 2019-20 సీజన్‌లో రంజీ ట్రోఫీ గెలిచిన జట్టులో సభ్యుడు. బరోట్‌ 38 ఫస్ట్‌ క్లాస్‌ మ్యాచ్‌లు ఆడి 1547 పరుగులు చేశాడు. లిస్ట్-ఏ క్రికెట్‌లో 1030, దేశవాళీ టీ20ల్లో 717 రన్స్‌ చేసి సత్తాచాడాడు. సయ్యద్‌ ముస్తాక్‌అలీ ట్రోఫీలో గోవాతో జరిగిన మ్యాచ్‌లో 53 బంతుల్లో 122 రన్స్‌ చేసి అందరి దృష్టిని ఆకర్షించాడు. కాగా బరోట్‌ మృతిపై టీమిండియా మాజీ ఆటగాడు యువరాజ్‌సింగ్‌, బీసీసీఐ కార్యదర్శి జైషా ట్వీట్టర్‌లో స్పందించారు. మృతికి సంతాపం తెలిపారు.
